Juan MacLean has been a fixture of the NYC club scene for over 20 years. He is best known for his longstanding presence as a founding artist on DFA Records, where he has been releasing music since 2002. His productions run the gammut from post-punk influenced to 80's inflected synth pop to the outer reaches of House and Techno. This chameleon-like nature is also reflected in his DJ sets. As a resident at Brooklyn's Good Room, he often plays open-to-close sets that incorporate an eclectic mix of heady and hypnotic styles unified with a sense of psychedelic adventure.
